Offering care services across England, we enable our clients to live safely and independently at home. We care for the elderly and support young adults and children. Our specialisation is in nursing and complex care services.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Support Worker to join a team which empowers, encourages, motivates, and supports the client to maintain their independence whilst ensuring their safety and well being.
Our client is severely sight impaired (SSI) and has refractory epilepsy - primarily experiencing simple partial, complex partial and tonic clonic seizures, with varying seizure activity daily.
Our client also has moderate learning disabilities, processing difficulties, mobility issues, impaired speech and language and incontinence.
Their seizure activity and additional underlying health conditions can be unpredictable and this in turn can impact their presentation, behaviours and daily undertakings.
Our client responds well to quality 1:1 interaction and support and requires routine and structure to their day.
Safety is paramount and successful applicants will need to ensure that they support the client aligned with their Care Plan and guidelines from specialist support services. Close supervision of the client is required at all times.
You will need to be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
